The following options are available to the player during the game:

Doubled bets: After the first two cards, the player can double his original bet. However, he may only receive ONE additional card.
Split: Two cards of the same value can be split. You double the original bet and split the cards into two hands. After splitting, doubling is also possible.
Insurance: This option is available to the player if the dealer shows an Ace as his face up hole card before checking for Blackjack. In this case, the player can claim insurance for half his bet if he is convinced that the dealer’s face down card is a 10. If the dealer has a Black Jack, the player wins 2 to 1. If the dealer has no Black Jack, the insurance bet is lost and the game continues.
